Monserrat

Monserrat

A fresh burst of green over musky grapefruit and osmanthus. Named after a paint color, Fzotic's Monserrat debuted at Jancar Jones Gallery, Los Angeles. It appeared with paintings in soft green, warm ochre and dusty orange. "I was thinking of worn and repainted urban walls and the matte surfaces ofĀ Italian fresco painting, which is the origin of the fantasy note 'setting plaster.'" -- Bruno Fazzolari

From Fzotic
Among our top sellers, year after year, Monserrat opens with juicy grapefruit and the soft warmth of apricot skin; sunny, relaxed notes that feel immediately inviting. Green leaves add freshness, while an unusual wet-plaster accord gives the scent a modern, artistic edge without ever dominating it. Osmanthus and carrot seed bring quiet depth, rounding the fruit with a gentle, tea-like warmth.

As it settles, Monserrat reveals a cheerful, bubbly muskiness reminiscent of a crisp white wine spritzer. It’s cheerful and refreshing; an easy, luminous scent that fits almost any moment.
